Abbey View Produce Partners with QualityApp to Digitise and Scale Operations

QualityApp is proud to announce Abbey View Produce as its newest customer.

Abbey View Produce has been supplying high-quality fresh salads to the UK market for more than 50 years. Working closely with an established network of growers both in the UK and abroad, they deliver quality products to major retailers, catering companies and the UK wholesale markets throughout the year.

Until now, Abbey View Produce relied on complex spreadsheets to manage their factory operations and quality processes. However, as their operation grew, they reached the limits of what spreadsheets could achieve. They sought a system that could fit seamlessly with their existing processes, be easy to manage, and scale internally as their business grew.

After evaluating their options, Abbey View Produce chose QualityApp’s cloud-based, self-service platform to digitise and streamline their operations.

Abbey View Produce started by digitising their complex Goods In process, which operates 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and manages 8–10 deliveries daily. They chose QualityApp for its ability to replicate their exact intake process, its ease of use, and its fast configuration of multi-step workflows.

Within the first five days of implementation, Abbey View Produce created a fully tailored multi-step intake workflow built using custom pages and integrated MES workflows. This captures all intake requirements and books each pallet directly into stock, delivering a more accurate, efficient, and traceable intake operation.

The next step is to replace their current Goods Out process with a QualityApp workflow for scanning products to orders.
